Mr. Shane Smiley, District E Police Juror
Shane Smiley was elected to the District E seat in 2007, and is currently the Police Jury President. Employed as an anesthetist, he entered into public service with a desire to make a
difference in the region in which we live.
District E encompasses the north east section of Ouachita Parish which includes areas within the
city of Monroe, Swartz, Lakeshore, Town and Country, and Cypress Point.
Active in may organizations and serving on various boards, Shane Smiley is dedicated to making Ouachita Parish a better place for all of us to live. He is married to Laurie and they have one daughter, Taylor.
